The University will send email updates for pending documents, pending information and evaluation decisions directly to the Student or to the Agency - AS AND WHEN AN UPDATE OR A DECISION IS AVAILALE. Student must keep Agents informed of any such emails.

Undergraduate Deferrals: Unfortunately, SF State does not usually allow deferrals. If the student decides not to accept SF States offer of admission but wishes to attend for a future semester, the student will need to re-apply to SF State by completing another application using the Cal State Apply online application form as well as submit another $70 application fee, an updated Financial Affidavit form and financial documents from their sponsor, as well as any additional/updated college or university transcripts. Graduate Deferrals: Unfortunately, SF State does not usually provide deferments to future semesters. Students can directly communicate with the department if they wish to readmit the students for a future semester, the student will need to petition or request a coupon code so the student may reapply to SF State at no cost and be readmitted.
