I-20 Issuance
Financial documents can be submitted after admission. To be eligible to receive a form I-20 from The University of Scranton, in addition to the academic requirements, you must submit an official certificate of finances. Once you have received a full admission letter and have electronically confirmed your enrollment, the I-20 is issued. You cannot be issued an I-20 until you have been offered full admission and confirmed your enrollment.

Evaluation Updates
The University will send email updates for pending documents, pending information and evaluation decisions directly to the Student or to the Agency - AS AND WHEN AN UPDATE OR A DECISION IS AVAILALE. Student must keep Agents informed of any such emails.

Deferment Process
The student can email us at gradadmissions@scranton.edu to request to defer to the next available intake. Some programs are fall intake only, such as MS Software Engineering, Chemistry etc. If a student’s financial documents are older than 6 months, new financial documents will be needed to issue the I-20. A student may only defer a maximum of 3 terms (one year). After that time period, a new application will need to be submitted.
