Overview
Marist is a privately-run liberal arts college. It received accreditation from the state in 1929 but was founded in 1905 by the Marist Brothers. College-level courses first started at the institute in 1929, and in 1946, it was offered an official 4-year charter by the state of New York. After that, the development of the campus started with the addition of a gymnasium, library, and halls. Today, it offers a wide variety of academic programs including accounting, biology, cybersecurity, Economics, Art history, and many more. These programs are offered by different schools under Marist College which include the School of Communication and the Arts, School of Computer Science and Mathematics, School of liberal arts, School of Management, School of Science, Scholl of professional programs, and School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Marists main campus is located in Poughkeepsie, NY, right along the majestic Hudson River and about 90 minutes away from New York City. There are multiple choices for accommodation, dining, and sports activities. It maintains study centers, academic buildings within the campus. There is a full-fledged athletics program that includes sports like football, basketball, softball, tennis, and swimming. The teams compete at the NCAA Division I level and the institute is dedicated to developing their students not just academically but also physically. The college has campuses in Florence Italy, New York City, and Esopus New York as well.

Evaluation Updates
The University will send email updates for pending documents, pending information and evaluation decisions directly to the Student or to the Agency - AS AND WHEN AN UPDATE OR A DECISION IS AVAILALE. Student must keep Agents informed of any such emails.

Deferment Process
Graduate students must apply. If they apply through Career Mosiac we will waive the application fee. Financial documents can be used again IF they are less than six months old when the I-20 is issued. Documents also must be less than six months old at the time of interview. Students may need to make new financial documents before they have their VISA interviews.
